“I Did Not Kill Her” — Man Cries Out After Woman’s Body Is Found Inside His Apartment
A disturbing incident has surfaced online after the body of a woman was reportedly discovered inside the apartment of a man identified as Abboby, with videos showing residents confronting him following the discovery.
A video circulating online shows a group of residents confronting the man after the woman's body was reportedly found inside the apartment.
In the footage, the man can be seen surrounded by people who appear to be demanding answers about the circumstances surrounding the woman's death.
The incident is believed to have happened recently, and details about the woman's identity, the exact location and the circumstances leading to her death are still emerging.
Woman's body reportedly discovered inside apartment
According to the information accompanying the video, residents discovered the woman's body inside the man's apartment.
Images circulating alongside the footage appear to show the body lying on the floor inside what was described as a bathroom.
The discovery reportedly shocked people in the area, with residents confronting the man and demanding an explanation.
The videos have since begun circulating on social media, attracting reactions from viewers who are calling for the circumstances surrounding the woman's death to be properly established.
Man denies killing the woman
During the confrontation, the man identified as Abboby reportedly denied being responsible for the woman's death.
He could be heard insisting that he did not kill her while people around him questioned him about what had happened.
The man's denial is visible in the footage, but the video itself does not establish what caused the woman's death or who was responsible.
At this stage, it would be premature to describe the man as a murderer or say that he killed the woman as an established fact.
He reportedly mentions HIV
During the confrontation, the man also reportedly referred to HIV while explaining his side of the situation.
However, there is currently no verified medical information available establishing that HIV caused the woman's death.
That claim should therefore be treated as an allegation or statement made during the confrontation, rather than as the confirmed cause of death.
A medical examination would be required to establish the actual cause of death.
Disturbing footage spreads online
The videos show residents gathered around the scene and confronting the man.
One of the clips shows the woman's body on the floor while people appear to be trying to understand what happened.
The footage has generated significant reactions online, with many people demanding answers and calling for the matter to be properly investigated.
Because the incident is still developing, some of the information being circulated online may change as more facts become available.
What remains unknown
Several important questions have yet to be answered.
It is currently unclear:
The identity of the deceased woman.
The exact location where the incident occurred.
Her relationship with the man identified as Abboby.
When she died.
How long her body had allegedly been inside the apartment.
The actual cause of death.
Whether there were injuries on her body.
Whether a post-mortem examination has been conducted.
Whether the man has formally been arrested or detained.
Whether the police have officially been notified or opened an investigation.
These details will be important in determining what actually happened.
No confirmed police statement yet
At the time of publishing, Naija Gist Central has not seen an official police statement confirming the circumstances of the death or announcing a formal investigation.
Therefore, we will not state that the police have launched an investigation unless an official source confirms it.
The circulating videos show what appears to be a confrontation by local residents, but they do not establish the legal status of the man or prove that he committed a crime.
If authorities later release an official statement, the report can be updated with those details.
Social media users demand answers
The disturbing footage has prompted reactions from social-media users, many of whom are demanding answers over how the woman died and why her body was allegedly found inside the apartment.
Others have urged caution, pointing out that accusations made during a chaotic confrontation should not automatically be treated as proof of guilt.
The most important evidence will ultimately come from the circumstances surrounding the discovery, witness accounts, forensic examination and any investigation conducted by the relevant authorities.
Developing story
The incident remains a developing story.
For now, the available footage shows a man identified online as Abboby being confronted by people after a woman's body was reportedly discovered inside his apartment.
He reportedly denied killing the woman and made claims involving HIV, but neither his denial nor the HIV claim independently establishes what happened.
Naija Gist Central will update this report if the identity of the deceased, location, police response or other verified information becomes available.
Readers are also advised not to circulate the identity of the deceased or accuse anyone of murder unless those details are confirmed by credible authorities or reliable reporting.
